State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) Approves 6 Industrial Projects Received During MIO 2022 6 Projects worth INR 854.17 Cr with an employment potential of 2,167 got approval from SLSWCA Bhubaneswar, 31st March 2023: State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of the Govt of Odisha today held its 116th meeting under the chairpersonship of the Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha, Shri PK Jena. The committee approves 6 industrial projects from diverse sectors worth INR 854.17 crores that would generate over 2,167 employment opportunities for the people of Odisha. Investment Intensions from four of these projects were received during Make in Odisha Conclave 2022. The state government is working hard towards converting the investment intents into ground reality. Projects spread across diverse sectors like Metal downstream, IT & ESDM, Infrastructure and Food Processing received approvals. The approved projects will be set up across various parts of the state namely, Bolangir, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, and Khurda Districts. The committee has given a go-ahead to 3 projects in the Infrastructure Sector, 1 project in Steel Sector, 1 project in the IT & ESDM sector, and 1 project in the Food Processing sector. The SLSWCA approved the proposal of Transtek Coal Minerals Private Limited, entailing an investment of INR 380.25 crores. It proposes to set up a Multi Modal Logistics Park in Khurda District. It is expected to provide employment opportunities to about 360 people in the state. The committee also approved the proposal of Nirmal Wires Private Limited at Jajpur district, which promises an investment of INR 200 crores and is expected to provide employment opportunities to about 400 people in the state. Alongside these two projects, SLSWCA approved 2 other projects in the infrastructure sector namely Aegis Logistics Limited and Bhubaneswar Logixpress Warehousing Llp which aim to provide employment to more than 350 people of Odisha in total. While Aegis Logistics Limited intends to setup a Greenfield Tank Storage Facility for liquid and gas products of 50,000 TPA capacity, Bhubaneswar Logixpress Warehousing Llp proposal includes warehousing cum Logistics Park including assembling. In the IT & ESDM sector, the committee gave a nod to 1 project, by Secureyes Techno Services Private Limited. With an investment of INR 75 crores, company proposes to set up a Global Cyber Security Delivery Center, which will provide employment opportunities to over 1,000 people of Odisha. In terms of the Food Processing sector, the authority approved 1 project that is expected to provide employment to more than 50 people of Odisha. The proposal of OVO Farm Private Ltd includes the setting up Manufacturing Unit for whole egg powder in Food Park at Sadeipali in Bolangir District with an investment of INR 50.5 crore.
